The “Questions for The Lurker” thread
Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread
I'm still very new to blake's 7, I bought the boxsets of s1 and 2 during lockdown, I'm 9 episodes in to s1 so far, but I've got to say... S4 is Avon's best look, if I was doing the action figures this is what I'd put him in

How come Ace can be released with her accessories- both a backpack, rocket launcher and a rocket... but we struggle to see the release of sonic screwdrivers- particularly in a set (ie 12 and Davros) where the screwdriver is integral to the story?

Taking a leaf from SJF’s book here;Lurker at the Edge wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 11:19 amBING ... CONFIMED! ...PURSUIT SHIPS NOW AT 40,000 SPACIALS AND CLOSING!' .... BONG!
“Ships” is an obvious reference to the anime-spawned definition of ship.
“40,000” is clearly alluding to Warhammer 40,000, the 28mm miniature wargame.
“Closing” is a reference to the financial state of many businesses right now.
From this, we can extrapolate that the Government’s new recovery scheme is something along the lines of “One CO-made 5 inch Warhammer 40k figure for every household”, and Al is telling us in advance...

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread
I saw straight through that red-herring of a clue - BING .... BONG......AVON CALLING.........Lurker at the Edge wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 11:19 amBING ... CONFIMED! ...PURSUIT SHIPS NOW AT 40,000 SPACIALS AND CLOSING!' .... BONG!
Oh no, the real clue is the word “CONFIMED” -
What is missing from “CONFIMED”? - the “R” - and which of these also does not have an “R” in it............
- Roger Delgado
- Peter Pratt
- Geoffrey Beavers
- Anthony Ainley
- Eric Roberts
So without any shadow of a doubt, Al is confiming that the devious, charismatic, man in black figure he has ready to release is none other than the classic-look Ainley Master!!!!

Lol .... f n a t c!
Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread
The letters missing are atsi which sounds a bit like antsi. Thats because Al is antsy that we've worked out the Ainley Master release.

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread
Fantastic clearly hints at a ninth doctor era set with Jackie, Lynda and Adam

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread
OMG!!!!!
4 missing letters - the first of which can be found in the first of these, the second in the second of these etc.....
- Roger Delgado
- Peter Pratt
- Geoffrey Beavers
- Eric Roberts
The missing letters being ‘atsi’ which stand for And The Subsequent Instalments..... so add on the previous missing letter and we have
And The Subsequent Instalments R ....... A FULL RUN OF CLASSIC MASTERS!!
Now - remove the letters ‘atsi’ from ‘Ainley Master’ and use the remaining letters to create a Master-esq anagram and you get the release rate for these new figures ....... ‘yearly men’
With news like this I’m off to crack open a bottle of Asti
