I wasn't likely to get there, so that left ebay as only option.

Yeah. It's rather amazing. Well set up and laid out.

eBay... You'll be paying an extortionate price if you do...

Yeah, but I didn't have it, and not everyone plays fair - I would never buy for a tenner then rip someone off for 50..
Given a chance, I'd buy a bunch at a tener each and sell them at the same price. That way we can help each other out. I do get annoyed at rip offs - "Oh it's rare so I'll charge 200 quid!!!'. I think I read something like that somewhere on this site today.
The 11th Doctor 12" figure is about 150 quid new, and I am looking forward to getting one. If they were made by Hot Toys, they would be out here at about 100quid, then I could help out!!

I love when eBay sellers stick 'rare' on the end of EVERYTHING and use it as an excuse to quadruple the price. Usually they're not even rare!

 I often laugh at things like that. eBay sellers are often greedy.

Ebay sellers just want as much as they can get.
A friend once told me that something was only worth as much as someone else was willing to pay for it. And that can change from day to day !

Some nitwits do actually believe they are rare and do it because of that.

Sweet! 8-)

I don't really like Caitlin (her personality), but it's still cool to get her autograph. :D

i love the way no one seems to know how ebay works here.

if you have something someone else wants then the price will go up
list something no one wants at a high price and it wont sell
i dont understand why you would sell something that is worth about £30 on ebay for £10. that just doesnt make sense.
but anyway.... ive been a seller on ebay since 2001 and its done me well. its an excellent way of cashing in your collectables and freeing money up for more collectables.
