Life size Dalek constructed out of CB bricks for Toy Fair

Hi all,

I just stumbled upon a little timelapse video of Character employees making a full-size Dalek out of Character Building bricks to display at the Toy Fair! Now that's commitment!
Quite interesting but they were a wee bit dodgy with the head - it's only the dome and nothing else.

When i first saw the advertisement for this, i seriously thaught it was an official product to buy

It'll probably go for around the same price that Hamley's sell their LEGO Indiana Jones/Darth Vader/etc (life-size) for about £27,000.

I know it's alot of lego bricks but that is just silly!

And TED, that comment just sums you up But i don't think we would have it any other way!

On thedoctorwhosite's Flickr he took a photo of it and it's completed now. It was probably a horribly easy-I mean complicated procedure.

It does have an eye stalk, it's just not in the video
