Well that's a good thing, you can't be disapointed.

KarenGillanFan wrote:You can't really have 'low expectations' for a series which has not yet aired; and has only entered pre-production (with filming due to commence soon).
The only things we can 'lowly expect' (for those who disliked the last series) is/are:
- The plot, which continues throughout (although I *think* this series is stand-alone)
- The writers, if you have not enjoyed their previous work (although, never judge a writer by his past work)
- The plots/characters, which are yet to be revealed (minus the Doctor, Amy, Rory, River)

One episode has aired now, not much to go on but it should start giving people ideas.

KarenGillanFan wrote:I think what MJF meant is that Christmas specials are meant to be stand-alone stories; which shouldn't have an impact on anyone's opinions on the series as a whole. They're festive episodes, and don't tie in with any major plot lines, etc.

KarenGillanFan wrote:Okay then, but what we're saying is there's the general series of (stereotypically) 13x episodes, and a Christmas special. Most class the Xmas Special as 'separate'.
