Your Theories About Series 7

Postby KarenGillanFan » Sun Feb 05, 2012 1:52 pm

Post 'em here.

I don't know why, but I REALLY think that Rory has been a Ganger ever since he was struck by the Silence's lightning in the Lodger TARDIS when he was with River. I think at some point in Series 7, the Ganger is going to melt, and Amy's going to kill herself, knowing Rory has been dead for 'a long time'.

That would be a great idea! :D That would be heartbreaking! :( I can picture it!

I think they should go to Trenzalore for Ep 14 and all enemies from Series 6 will be their trying to kill them. The Cliff hanger will either be Amy Dying or her getting injected by the handbot shringe :D

People have been looking into that a little too much, if Rory was a Ganger he would have melted at the end of The Almost People as well. Nothing happened to Rory or River, they both escaped.

Not really. The Gangers could be activated at different points (ie. when they melt), so Rory's could still be in place. Obviously something DID happen to Rory...

That's why the Doctor went right back to the earliest point in the development of the Flesh to make sure that he was capable of melting the Amy Ganger, if they had also produced a Rory then he would have similarly been melted.

If something was up, then there would have been some more references to it having happened, you could argue all five of them were killed and replaced by Gangers if you wanted at that point because we never see them actually leave the warehouse. A Ganger would need to be connected to the original or created via the original and if they killed Rory there and then, then no Ganger could have been produced. It could be right, but your logic behind it having happened is wrong.

I hope that we see NO uncool Moffat monsters in the final. Gather Up the Cybermen, RTD Daleks, Autons, Slitheen ones which really hate the Doctor!

I doubt there'll be any monsters such as the Daleks, Cybermen, Slitheen, etc in the finale. There's no real 'arc' to this series, as such, so I think, if anything, it'll either be a stand-alone finale just to 'see the series end' or the Silence making their return...

I agree that something may have happened when Rory was Attacked by the Silence in The Impossible Astronaut, because even though he died properly in Cold Blood and in the dream world in Amy's Choice, after that was when this whole thing about Rory dying all the time came to light with it almost becoming a regular thing, can you imagine if Rory is Captain Jack's Great Great Great Great Great Grandson from the future

I have a theory that the Silence and the Doctor make recruits and we see lots of old favourties at Trenzalore.

I don't reckon the Silent bit from TIA has any relevance - from what we saw people could withstand Silent lightning for a while, and what with River's trigger-happy nature, I don't reckon anyone trying to kill her dad would last all that long. :P Not to mention Rory's a badass from Planet Awesome who can stand up to excruciating pain being directed into his eyeball with little more than some convulsing of the hands.
Nice theory, though.

Personally, I think the Daleks are going to return in a big, big story; and Amy will be killed off. Then, outraged and heartbroken, Rory leaves the TARDIS for good. Either that or the duo ask why he never sees River anymore; so he takes them to her grave. The trauma causes them to leave the TARDIS for good; not hating the Doctor, but too upset to carry on knowing that she's dead.
