But River isn't dead. Plausable (in the real world), but she is still alive; inside a computer system. It would be a tear jerker if the Doctor "accidentally" sent Amy and Rory to the library and saved them...

I've mentioned this before but i have a theory that we will see who built the Time machine(s) for the Silence, as they usurp the abilities of people/peoples for their own use. There's not many species who can build TARDIS-like travel machines so i'm hoping it's another Time Lord. I'll be dissapointed if that mystery is never resolved, so that's my theory for this year :D

Oh and i'll be annoyed if the voice from the Pandorica Opens is never resolved or just assumed to be a Silent with a sore throat lol

TED said it was the "test voice" for the Silence; but I, like you, think it's something entirely different.

But what your forgetting is the Silence are more than just the Silents, they are a religion covering many different species. At one point as we know they had a part human part TARDIS amongst their ranks so there is a distinct chance that they got their information straight from the one person who understands temporal physics more than any other living thig in the universe (who is capable of actually talking, her "other mother" would be more knowledgeable but only ever gained physical form in the bubble universe).

We can hope, if there is any sense in this world it'll be someone truly unexpected.

But the person "we" expect the least is the Silents which brings us full circle, that is how Moffat operates. The most obvious answer is always the right one regardless of how stupid it may sound.

Yeah it just deflates the whole epicness of the mystery.

The mystery still remains, the problem is are people able to see the true answer or will they get caught up in the extras, red herrings and tangents. For example, in A Good Man Goes to War, to try and distract people from the baby being River he uses the age old "Who's the father?" twist to atempt to confuse us. Of course it was going to be Rory, who else would it be? The plot is only as complicated as people want it to be, so the very imaginitive get caught up in all the distractions, but people like myself see straight through it for months beforehand.

For me, the voice will always be someone else. And the great thing is, if it's just supposed to be a Silent, it's not like it's going to be an issue for Moffat anymore.

This is agreed, TED will not deflate me by saying it is a test voice or another silence member, nor for the invention of the Lodger Ship or the head of the Silence Religion (VALEYARD, VALEYARD, VALEYARD!). Infact the Voice could be the Valeyard.
