I believe that they will.
I think that each figure will be packaged uniquely, but fall in line that the specific era. Time of course will tell. And speaking of time - it was 11th of 11th 2011 that we saaw the reveal, and now 26th of 4th 2012 (6 months+ later) we get the packaging. I am still hoping for the email this weekend to say it's been dispached (well, to my dad's place - then he can ship it over to me!!).

We've already seen the Dynamix range packaging for the Tennant figure (or what was intended for it, but the packaging for the 12'' Eleventh Doctor appears unchanged from the earlier designs so I'd presume the same applies here) and it was a classic design so it might be a classic packaging and an Eleventh Doctor packaging as per Worldwide's classification system.

This is the first packaging that these guys have shown as approved. And it's the first time I've seen it anywhere.
Personally, I like it.
My 12" figure collection is on display in a lit cabinet set into a protruding wall, but I display the packages in a room upstairs. The HT pacakging is usually a work of art, and BC look like they want to follow them down that path.

They've shown a couple of pictures on Facebook of it in the early stages before it was approved (about the time the Amy figure was finished). It's not changed though.

There's still a couple of pictures of the Dynamix range packaging in the picture with the 12'' Tenth Doctor figure in it (should be in the Tenth Doctor thread) although it has not been finalised yet obviously.

Quite the opposite of CO aren't they? Here's some packaging next to our figures... make your own conclusions. CO would be sending out snipers to kill the people who looked at the pictures (I think they are doing it right now for some of their sets that leakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkeawogggg

*dead*

CO are making figures that most people are going to rip into, and dispose of the pacakages. However, there has been a new lease of life in thir presentation. I like the styling of the new sets, in the blue, and the way that CO do insets with scenes has always been good in their larger boxes.

I'm just talking about pictures in general, not specifically the packaging. We've got pictures of the Tenth Doctor already before anything has really been officially done in terms of announcements of the figure's design (so far all we have is confirmation that it will be the third figure and what the costume is).

I get you. Yeah, BC are doing it right. Create interest and discussion. Generate a desire to own these figures. Didn't take much for me tho - I read that they were doing this range, and added their site to my faves and monitored ever since !!
I am so looking forward to this stuff.

Before any figures have come out we already know about five figures (and four possible figures on top of that), a 1:4 scale figurine and and 1:8 scale figurine as well (as well as ten possible figues on top of that one). Overall that is 21 figures, that's enough to keep them going for at least three years, never mind the costume and accessory packs and dioramas that are planned in the future (probablly the TARDIS first, but that won't be until next year at the earliest).

We'll see.
I am sure that they have mooted a number of options.
At present tho, only 2 confirmed 12" figures in their range (11th and Amy). The Angels would appear to a given as they talked about their production / development.
A 10th Doctor may come, but untill I am not as concerned about him, as there are 2 12" 10th Doctors already (granted - not hi end, but they are pretty good).

They've already shown a picture of him, work appears to be quite a bit on (and the picture was taken two months ago), all they were missing at that point was the trenchcoat and the accessories so who knows how long it will be.

Certainly they have the intention to release at least five figures in the 12'' range this year, and their plans for the Dynamix range is four a year (although whether this year is included in that is uncertain because of the start up delays).
