Well i tried watching Evil of the Daleks, but i only managed to find a few reconstructions of good quality, but i got the gist of it all. It would be brilliant to get the Dalek Emperor from that story!

I agree Melkur! I'd always have to buy 60's figures. There's an Audio CD of the whole story out; that and the recons on the BBC website, as well as the complete episode 2 are probably the best ways to watch it now.

I'm in the mood for 'Remembrance of the Daleks' tonight to get in the mood for shopping tomorrow :D

Well he was clamped by the Time Lords, he couldn't move through space, and he couldn't move backwards or forwards in time, so the only option left is to move "sideways" into another continuum altogether.

In various novels; Time Wrym: Exodus, Bloodheat, No Future and others explain this as when consoles are taken outside of the TARDIS shell they move sideways in time and space instead of forwards and backwards. Of course this is just the novels explanation but seeing as how it's relatively the only one and a damn good one I always go with that.
Don't worry... it's the end but the moment has been prepared for... you can still find me bashing the New 52 and other things comic book related at www.ImWithGeek.com

A Christmas Carol - 'Tisn't the season, but hey. Really enjoyed it; one of my personal favourite episodes, and props to Smith and Gambon for really carrying it.

Aw, what the hell.

I still have Abigail's song on my playlists, it's really not my type of song at all but it's really quite special i think, there's something about it which means i have to listen to it! It's one of my top three favourite specials for sure!

I never really connected with this episode, if I'm honest. I've watched it once and that was when I was surrounded by family and couldn't hear it well. I always said I'd watch it again and to this day I still haven't - I just don't have the motivation.
