Earthshock (KILLING Adric... a big bonus)
The Five Doctors (panto Master and panto Rassilon aside)
Attack of the Cybermen
Peri (two good reasons for a bonus point)
Three decent Dalek stories
Ace

And Caves of Androzani was voted the best story of all time in the mighty 200 poll....even though it was literally followed by the very worst story in the poll. I always tend to look at Attack of the Cybermen as Colin's debut, seemed odd to shove him on at the end of a series, wasn't really fair on him.

I mean Twin Dilemma... it's the nightmare child of the 80s.

I would have said Ace was more down to Andrew Cartmel than him (in fact JNT hated Sophie Aldred at first, the two became good friends later on but there was a lot of tension for the first series or so).

The problem always is giving credit where credit is due, and sending insults to the right people as well. JNT's ideas were always good and his heart was in the right place but on many occassions he failed to get those ideas across on screen and that is what he will always be remembered for.

Even now, many people are turning against RTD, and people are beginning to forget Moffat's earlier work.

I watched the special feature on the making of Dragonfire and Sophie talked about the first time she met JNT on a flight of stairs. I nearly wet myself at the impression she did of him! I had to rewind a couple of times lol.

You've got to feel sorry for him, he always get picked on.

I was reading through a few old DWM and found a lterr someone had written complaining about the scene in Extras. They said it was twenty years out of date and they were suprised we didn't see RTD wandering through the background of the set in a Hawaiian shirt.
