Ah, the perpetual battle between the 'absolutes' and the 'what ifs'.

Anyway, as the DWM stated there were 5 2012 episodes (I guess these do not include the Christmas special) we can extrapolate a date of 17th November. Run for 5 episodes, rest for Christmas Saturday and return in big old fashioned sentimental rubbish fashion, on the 25th December.

So, if my sums are right, you'll see the DALEKS on Saturday 17th November.

There's 6 episodes in 2012 (including the Christmas special), and 8 episodes to be aired in early-2013.
I presume you are right with your date estimation.

Who knows what will be shown and when. I don't think even Moffat knows. Filming has practically finished on the first half of the series. One assumes that the next 6 months will finish the other half of the series then we may get some anniversary info.

Steven Moffat has made it clear in the past he wants one series running over Christmas (as it is the only way to avoid Spring broadcasting) but he fears that somebody in the BBC (probablly Danny Cohen) will mess it up and bring the first five forward a couple of months and then shift back the final eight several months.

It's just been reported on DoctorWhoTV that Cassandra is in this episode...She kidnaps Rory as she is working for the Daleks.

As much as i'm a fan of te RTD era, let's hope it's not the layer of skin in a photo frame Cassandra that is returning

It's a completely different actress. Although I doubt the story, not on that basis but on another.

Steven Moffat went on a little rant a while ago because people were claiming Amy was now working as a model, rather he said she was making perfume and modelling for it as well (after all why on earth would a model have such a blatant connection to the slogan and the name of the perfume as well).
