But how does that involve Rory? Unless that is the Amy one, and there is something else related to both of them (which could be the badge).

The idea does not the context. He mentions that there is something in THe Eleventh Hour relating to the Pond's departure and a shot relating to Amy's departure.

You have assumed both are one and the same thing, however if they are not then it is entirely possible that the duck pond is the "shot" and the ID badge is the thing related to both of them, as the duck pond has nothing to do with Rory (which the "shot" would need to do as well to work for just one thing).

No, if you've been reading the above posts, you will have learned that Rory's life is a continual time loop. He's reliving his life over and over again, and obviously was in 1990, when the Doctor met Amy.
