Rate series 4

Partners in Crime 6/10 - Enjoyed it all, but it wasn't anything particularly groundbreaking, except perhaps the Rose bit.
The Fires of Pompeii 6/10 - Apart Donna putting the Doctor in his place, an otherwise mediocre ep.
Planet of the Ood 5/10 - Pretty average, the Ood weren't done many favours in this ep. Donna once more is the only thing going for this one.
The Sontaran Strategem/ The Poison Sky 7/10 - Enjoyed this one a lot more. Apart from UNIT being turned into idiots, I really liked it.
The Doctor's Daughter 5.5/10 - Nice to have a story continuing on where another left off. Also good to have two companions, despite the fact they're separated for most of the episode.
The Unicorn and the Wasp 5.5/10 - Not bad. The CGI on the Wasp was great, but the actress playing Agatha didn't really give her any warmth to make me care about her.
Silence in the Library/ Forest of the Dead 8/10 - Really good. Enjoyed it a lot more than others this series. The ending voiceover does it for me though. Beautiful.
Midnight 9/10 - Apart from the (obvious) lack of Donna, it was a true masterpiece. Just would have liked to have known a TINY little bit more about the "creature"
Turn Left 10/10 - AMAZING. Simple as.
The Stolen Earth/ Journey's End 10/10 - Best finale ever! Although that's maybe for the squeeing moments throughout. My fav has to be when Davros recognises Sarah though.

The Next Doctor 2/10 - Awful. The Cybermen just don't work in Victorian times.
Planet of the Dead 4/10 - Haven't watched for a while, but remember thinking it was rubbish.
The Waters of Mars 10/10 - Loved it. Real scary monster, and the bleakest ending to DW ever.
The End of Time 4/10 - Better than The Next Doctor. Just. But really, DT deserved better than this. But it'll do.

I just rewatched Fires of Pompeii and The Unicorn and the Wasp. Reminded me how AMAZING series 4 and Donna are! I miss light hearted episodes! Its way too serious now! Would happily give them both an 8/10

I think this is how I've felt too, recently. The simplicity was good. It just feels like a much simpler adventure. I love Moffat's series' usually, but I think this is the reason the show is less popular today.
