The stock in place is all based on pre orders.
All emails shouldn't take more than a day or so. With a Sig Ed size of 250, and say 25-30% of the regular ed' (estimated) of 2000 thats a total of 800+ emails.
As for the packing and shipping, they can be packing without care of which specific model goes to who. Then, upon clearance of payment (credit cards and paypal should be instant) labels should be printed, then - if they use a courior, they should be shipping out batches several times a day.
It's in their best interest to get these in the hands of the purchasers. So far their reputation on line, is one of delays, and I'm sure that confidence is not something that comes to mind when thinking of these guys. My dad said he sent a 'stroppy' email concerning their delays ! Doh!!

For my part, I think they just undeer estimated the time factor involved. Hot Toys announce new product 9 months to a year ahead of of release date. Taking into account HTs lead time, BC are actally following that patern and it simply takes this ammount of time to get it right.

I am now though, really excited about this addition to my collections.

To put things in perspective, if you order the Dark Knight Tumbler [camo version] it won't be available till September 2013, after all this time a few more days don't matter, as long as we get a high quality product, we can look forward to more figures with even greater anticipation.

So, people have started receiving their figures, and the first pictures aren't very encouraging. It could be the flash photography though

oh!
That is not encouraging. The hands look sub Action Man.

I can seriously see me rebuilding this on a Hot Toys TT body. It just does not look like the figure carries the quality that I have come to expect from the HT type of product. Actually, I think my retro Turtles ooze more quality than this does... I sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hope Im wrong.

Luckily i'm in a decent position here. Ages back I had emailed Big Chief to ask them to cancel my order as I initially only went through the ordering process to see how much shipping would cost and accidentally placed an order as they didn't ask for payment details at that time. They emailed me back with clarification but did not cancel the order as I had asked, meaning I should be able to get them to cancel as I had asked them in the first place if I don't like the look of the figure. Now I've seen the final pictures, i'm really not so sure...
