Nice, but I can't find that tall, thin black coney thing with white eyes- are you including him or is he the one who didn't return for MP?

Wow! I love them but the images are a little small, when it is done will you compile it into a CBR file?

Actually, he's the one on the far right. I made the biggest change with him, visually, as I think he suffered the most from the budget back in the show. A finished, color version would have given a better look but I've retained the cone shape but instead of that black cardboard finish, it would now be glass or plexiglass filled with black liquid and the creature inside would be more amphibian in nature, squid-like, and you'd still see the eyes up top looking through the glass.

Thanks. I have them over on my Comicspace page larger but the site's having problems. At some point I'll move them over to my regular comic site and put up a link. For the foreseeable future though, it is done as IDW wasn't interested and I've got to concentrate on paying work for the most part.

ComicSpace is having a bit of trouble with their site so here's a better link to my home site, Epoch Comics:

Update on this: someone emailed me a while back asking if I still wanted to adapt the full story and I declined but after running across all my sketches, notes, reference, scripts and finished pages I did, AND most importantly, thinking about the upcoming 50th anniversary celebration, I have decided to continue. The good folks over at Kasterborous.com have even been nice enough to agree to showcase the whole project once it's done for the big anniversary. :)

Started pencils on "Mission to the Unknown" today. I've given myself till a few months before the anniversary to complete the project so I should be able to do it all on the side from work and not kill myself. Not sure how long it'll be but possibly 160 to 180 pages total. What I'd done earlier is still up on my website home page: epochkblamm.net

Others have speculated that maybe IDW can't do Daleks for a story like this because of a rights issue but I don't know. I can only go by what they said. Anyone who wants to see this project through, I'd say contact IDW. :)

That's not a bad thought, Beast. As a rule, I find that they like to stay within the UK for the big projects but it certainly couldn't hurt, thanks! -Rick
