"Complete" Collections

Post by Gek2Win » Tue Aug 13, 2019 2:57 pm

What collections can you claim to have completed? It can be as tenuous as you like. My example is fairly direct: I own every TARDIS of the Master's that CO have ever released. What about you?

I nearly have every standard release new series doctor who book, but I missed one of the capaldi ones so sadly I can't quite claim that. I'm only 4 dvds away from having the entirety of doctor who on dvd, so that'll be one for the soon.

I... um... don't believe in "completism," so I probably should leave y'all to your good times.

(Personally, I dropped out of it in the midst of collecting rare imported CDs from my favorite bands back in my 20s, when I started to feel like its only ultimate purpose was to make myself crazy.)

Although it’s quite measly compared to all of your ones, I’m quite proud that I own all of new who on dvd. It’s become quite a tradition in recent years to buy the Blu Ray Boxset despite the fact that I can watch them all on Netflix or Iplayer!

Which whats?
DVDs
I only need The Sontaran Experiment, The Invisible Enemy, S11 and Resolution, then I have every story. Although once I do I might go back and get the original edition releases of the ones I have the special edition of. Any story that has a special edition I have that version, but the only ones I have the special and the original are the ones they rereleased after I already had them. So I might do that for more completeness.
