Doctor Who Animations

Post by Doctor What » Sun Oct 27, 2019 1:05 pm

Discuss animated Doctor Who releases here :D

We already knew that The Faceless Ones was coming next year, but there's also a second one coming next year - Fury From the Deep, announced today!

I'm really excited for Fury, I appreciated the story when I watched the recon but I never got into it as much as i'd have liked to without the visuals.

Regarding Fury From the Deep…

I am so happy.

My life is finally complete.

Thank you, BBC.

Fury from the Deep is one of my top 3 favourite missing stories so I'm very happy to be getting an animation of it.

It’s great.
Al Dewar, if you are reading this, please give me a job/ all variants of all figures you have ever produced (delete as applicable).

Despite occasional claims to the contrary, the blessed St. Verity Lambert is not recognised by any major church.

And here we were all thinking they'd do "Evil of the Daleks" cuz it's a Dalek one.

How far away are they from having a single "complete" season for Troughton?

Space pirates isvall we need to complete s6. But also its terrible and no one wants it. After fury we'll be 2 away from all of s5, after faceless we'll be 3-4 away from s4 depending on if you count underwatwr menace as done or not.

Actually I have just finished reading the Target novelisation of The Space Pirates and I rather enjoyed it so I'd be quite happy if it turned up in someone's attic or garage or whatever. Granted Terrance really was rather good at writing the novels, but I'd still like to see it fully.

Interesting that they're cherry picking stories from all over the seasons.

So we'd just need Abominable Snowmen and... Wheel in Space? They showed ten minutes of the animated "Wheel" at a BFI event or something, or am I imagining that?
