Look's like I'll be getting more than one set this year...
Yes you're right, they don't even sell Doctor Who figures in Dubai.

Since these B&M sets are limited to repaints i'd say this is a very nice selection of sets! Really looking forward to that TARDIS (and also secretly hoping it will reduce the value of fourth doctor TARDISes slightly so they're a bit more affordable on ebay).

All 3 sets have variants. In fact, the only figure that looks relatively unchanged is Clara.

Is it just me, or does that TARDIS look like it has a black light on top? I'm pretty sure it was never black in any of the episodes, so there's no reason for it to be. I hope it's just the shadows or something.

I figured we'd never get another classic TARDIS, since I think the last time they released one was 2010. I hope they'll keep releasing new TARDISes for a couple of years now. There are at least 4 they could still do: 2nd Doctor TARDIS, with the pull to open panel on the wrong side, like in season 6, a 6th Doctor TARDIS, repainted to look more damaged and have the inaccurate box part under the light removed, an 8th Doctor TARDIS, and a War Doctor TARDIS.

Obviously it's just wishful thinking, but I hope they would make at least one of those at some point.

Here's a point I can't get past on the Brigadier figure...why haven't they retooled it. Obviously it's for reasons of cost and money but when I look at the evidence here there's no real reason it couldn't have been done.

Firstly, the Brig figure uses the Captain Jack base, which is also the base for the Auton but the Auton figure was originally resculpted/retooled from the Captain Jack figure to add more accurate features.

So CO have proven they can retool an existing figure, further more (assuming we do get what we see) the Fourth Doctor figure has (as far as I can tell) an entirely new shirt/waistcoat resculpt which mean that CO ARE willing to make/tool new parts.

So my query is, if they've already proved they could retool the Captain Jack figure, and proved they are willing to make new parts, they WHY OH WHY could they not have made the Brigadier figure have an accurate shirt and tie?

Again I understand it might cost more to retool a figure than to make a new part but when you take out the money side of things as far as I can see it's not that they couldn't do it, they just genuinely couldn't be bothered to do it.

I'm pretty sure she wore it in The Pilot

I think it's what she's wearing in her first scene, if it's not that she definitely wears it at some point during The Pilot.
