The Krotons

Simply the best of classic Doctor Who.

How long until the Krotons make their much needed return to the new series?

To my knowledge it's not really a very highly regarded story by most fans. Although it's another one that I think is better than its reputation. Doesn't do much to amaze, but it has its moments, and Philip Madoc is in it, he's always good.
Do you know who I miss? That guy with the potatoes, let's bring him back...

Brace yourselves for a shock but I have to agree with BG :o (I know) but seriously I think you've hit the nail on the head, whilst it's not really deserving of it's reputation as not very good and it does have some great moment, there are better stories, that being said however it's been a while since I've seen it so when I come to do my review of it, who knows I might change my mind!

I'm sure I must have seen the krotons, I thought I'd seen all the troughton stories there were to see, but I have absolutely not recollection of them at all. Are they one of the missing ones?

I'm hoping they are confirmed soon.

It would be good move to have a new doctor facing a classic villain like the Krotons in their first series imo.

The Krotons are thankfully intact.
