Re: B&M doctor who sets.

Could the planned 1st Doctors Tardis come with Susan? I figure it's probably going to come with a reissue of the original Unearthly Child variant (which I'd almost be willing to pay for on it's own, since it's been out of print for a while now, and stupid expensive on eBay.) https://merchandise.the...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

I'd say it's almost a certainly that any Five Doctors set is going to include the previously cancelled Hurndall Doctor, since it's just a head (that they already had prototypes and possibly a couple of dies cut for) and a repainted Hartnell body with some fingerless gloves added, and a Raston Warrio...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to notice this, but I just realized the Sensorite body could be used for the Voord, the Raston, and the Earthshock Stealth robot, which would line up with the rumors of Marinus, Earthshock, and Five Doctors sets. Yeah, I'm just catching up. Forgive me, it's been a ...

Re: Start a Blatantly False Toy Rumor

The next Enemies of The Second Doctor set will just be a bottle of extra sudsy bath foam.

It will then be re-released a few months later as a Character Online exclusive Plasmaton.

Re: 3D Printing Doctor Who - Print and paint your own 5.5" scale customs

And here we have the final painted and assembled Aggedor. Now that I have it fully put together and standing next to a Pertwee figure, the scale looks perfect, so I don't think I need to go back and shrink it after all. This figure is officially one and done , and available to download for anybody w...

Re: A wee present for you all

I've said this elsewhere, but I would easily invest in some mall kiosk chain that did print on demand for pickup. I do think, like vending machines or those which cut keys, they will be the future for most folks who don't have/can't afford a decent printer. Shapeways cannot be the bar for printing ...

Re: A wee present for you all

This is what happens when I exclusively hang out over in the customs section of the forum, I miss threads like this! If you're ever looking for a more permanent home for the files, I'd be happy to put them up in the guest artist section of our 3D Printing Doctor Who website. (With a little blurb say...

Re: 3D Printing Doctor Who - Print and paint your own 5.5" scale customs

Thanks for the tip! Do you think pieces of wire would work, too? Or would they be way too thin? I'll have to go looking for the UV resin. Honestly XTC-3D is one of the worst substances I've ever dealt with. Yeah, I'm sorry I ever touched that garbage myself. Way more trouble than it's worth. I'd be...

Wow! Aggedor is Aggedawesome! Looking forward to seeing it painted. Hey, I have a quick question about one of the models. Even though I know it's not yours, you may have an answer on it. A friend of mine is printing up a Nightmare in Silver Cyberman. Here - http://3dprintingdoctorwho.com/guest-temp...

Re: 3D Printing Doctor Who - Print and paint your own 5.5" scale customs

And here he is, hot off the printer! I'm quite chuffed with how well this one has turned out. http://www.strangecult.com/sa/who_toys/WIP361.JPG I might need to shrink the design ever so slightly on future printings (about 3-5%) since in Monster of Peladon , Pertwee's eyeline is about level with the ...
