People, calm yourselves!

The real question is, is the novel canon?

That's what needs to be sorted first.

After all that, the novel didn’t even reference the advert in the end.

Plus the novel preceded to claim that the Virgin New Adventures Novels and Big Finish Gallifrey Audios are alternate timelines for Ace.

Gotta give Sophie Aldred credit for claiming that she has resolved the conflict fates but really said “nah theyre not canon” and made up her own exit for Ace.

Ha! Good on ol' Sophie for that.

So... Does the novel reference the advert or does it not?

Ha! Hilarious!

No "A.C.E." charitable foundation whatsoever, eh?

No references to becoming a leather pants-wearing mercenary either, I'm guessing.

Oh no she’s very much in charge of A.C.E. (But that was already confirmed on TV in SJA anyway). But they don’t link it into the advert with Seven knocking on the door to her office or even making it Thirteen with an umbrella or something.

There is actually references to the VNAs but basically the Doctor pushes her into this quantum possibility engine thing and she sees all her potential futures, including dying in the comics, going to Gallifrey in the audios, joining Space Fleet in the Novels, retiring to Paris in the novels and travelling with Bernice Summerfield in the novels. She also has visions of A Charitable Earth and those resonate with her the most.

She then realises that the Docfor pushed her into the thing and gets mad and decides to leave him for good.
