Figured there should be an Original Series thread to go with the New Series one.
I've been making my way the Season 26 box set. Really interesting documentary about JNT.
Oh, and the "Battlefield" special edition blows the original transmitted version out of the water. Took a rather ropey serial and turned it into the fun romp it was intended to be.
Next stop: Ghost Light!

I've never actually seen Ghost Light, but I enjoy Battlefield, though I've not seen it for a few years nows. I really need to get the special edition DVD.

I'm going to watch the "work print edition" of Ghost Light that restores the deleted scenes. The original is famous for being hard to follow. I'm hoping this new edit fixes that.

Hey, have any of you good people bought "The Faceless Ones" on disc?
I'm considering ordering it from the UK, and was wondering what people thought.

I haven’t, but from previews it is absolutely beautiful.

The common wisdom is that it's a middling story, but the animation looks quite nice considering the budget.
I also hear there are a number of Easter eggs tucked into backgrounds here and there. Like wanted posters for two different Masters in the security office.

One of the animators posted a thread with all the Easter eggs on twitter.

Do you have a link? I've googled the heck out of it and can't find a full list, even on GB.

@Robritchie409. You have to scroll a bit, but it’s there.
