I never realised this either, this was one of my least favourite era's personally, and I'd taken quite a big step back from the show so I was unaware of all this, but a lot of things make sense knowing that. I might need to read up on everything that was going on at this time!
I didn't know, either.

Though I do think Moff running both "Who" and "Sherlock" at the same time meant both shows suffered. I loved "Sherlock," but it basically ran itself into the ground, IMHO.

But I've just realized this is supposed to be the *classic* series thread, so I'll move on from that. :)

Have you seen Nicholas Pegg's Doctor Who emoji game? It's pretty brilliant.

I'm watching the Brain of Morbius in my rewatch of the whole show tonight and there is the most insane thunder storm where I am and it is an immense atmosphere to sit and watch the story in.

I've just been watching Tooth and Claw and experienced a similar thing, not the best weather but certainly gives an atmosphere.

We're looking at record heat coming here in So Cal, so I wonder which classic story goes with that. "Planet of Fire?"

This came up on another thread.

https://www.blogtorwho.com/review-docto ... l-edition/

Considering picking it up, along with all the other Troughton animations I neglected because they don't release them on blu-ray in the States.
