SPOILERS FOR TIME LORD VICTORIOUS AND BIG FINISH BELOW:

With Christopher Ecclestone’s return to doctor who in big finish, do you think we’ll ever see him return to the actual show in the next anniversary?

I hope so, it would be nice if he was in some media I was likely to actually absorb. Otherwise he might as well be back, but only in a pay for youtube exclusive episode that is not available in my region.

Just gonna point out before anyone gets excited. It’s not for Time Lord Victorious. Although I suspect it could be for Out of Time.

I thought it was just going to be for more of whatever they're usually doing at big finish.

I'm not sure Eccleston being OK with Big Finish, Doctor Who, and fan appreciation means he's ok with the BBC, who informed his conflict with the production team in 2005 per all I've read. In fact, I feel like Big Finish is happening BECAUSE Eccleston can engage Doctor Who fans creatively with people he's never slighted (Billie, John, Nicholas Briggs & any past Doctors or his successors) while never dealing with those he took issue with.

For anyone who says "But it was Davies, not necessarily BBC": Based on public knowledge/interviews, he clearly had no problem with Moffat, and still declined the 50th.

All those considered, it'd be nice to be wrong. Eventually. Safe money it has no relevance to Series 13 or possibly/probably Whittaker's run.

Oh dear. I wasn't aware; What's the short, non-gossipy version of events?

He thought John was unprofessional and annoying because he got naked on set and stuff.

And he's still holds bad feelings towards BBC higher-ups for -- as he describes it -- essentially blackballing him after he left Doctor Who.
