Launched in the UK in May 2008 Doctor Who Power Rollers are a range of 60 collectable rollers featuring different characters from the New Series. The Rollers are sold in packs of two, the contents of which are unknown. Power Rollers can be used to play a variety of games, eg Game 1: 'Play your Roller Closest to the Target Wins', Game 3 'Roll, Knock out your Opponents!'. Each pack is printed with game instructions on the reverse.
Power Rollers can be kept in the Tardis Rollers Box which retails for around £3.50 in the UK and includes one pack of two Rollers and a checklist insert of all 60 collectable Power Rollers. The roof of the Tardis clicks off to reveal the hollow interior.
Power Rollers are made under licence by Magic Box International. Parent company Martomagic S.L. is a specialist in collectables and collectable games. Other ranges include Pokemon Power Rollers, Marvel Heroes Crazy Bones and Shoot Out the Premier League trading card game. Dr Who Rollers are distributed by Magazine Marketing Company.
